Karma

Many have heard the word Karma - the law of cause and effect governing human actions, thoughts, and desires - but rarely do people understand its mechanism. This booklet, published in 1895, explains the concept and describes its workings and laws in detail, including the effects of our thoughts and the importance of building character, to create positive future karma, accelerate one’s spiritual evolution, and utilize the knowledge for the betterment of humanity. “When a man accepts and partially understands the working of karma, he can at once begin this building of character, setting each stone with deliberate care, knowing that he is building for eternity”. – Annie Besant (summary by Karen V.)
