Audiobook
Volume II chronicles Dr. Livingstone's continued efforts to accurately map the areas of central Africa through which he is traveling. While successful, the effort was not without danger. Illness, hostile native peoples, and desertion of help all presented problems that made the last years of Livingstone's life difficult. This volume ends with Mr. Waller continuing the narrative with information given to him by those traveling with Dr. Livingstone at the end of his life. - Summary by KHand
