Humble Attempt to Promote Explicit Agreement and Visible Union of God's People in Extraordinary Prayer, . . .

Not only does this powerful little piece of writing contain within its pages the timely exhortation to Christians to pray at just such a time as this for our Lord's kingdom to come (as relevant today as it was in 1747), but we're also given a good dose of eschatology and a taste of history to boot--almost forgotten knowledge, if you will. A refreshing, eye-opening, inspirational piece of work. (FYI: "extraordinary prayer" can be defined as "prayer with special purpose," and a "concert of prayer" is an agreement of two or more in a prayer plan.) - Summary by Debra Bridgford
