Audiobook
Set in Scotland, David Balfour's father has just died, and he has learned he has a rich uncle. However, his uncle has no intention of giving David his inheritance, and has him kidnapped on a ship bound for the Carolinas! On board, David befriends Alan Breck Stewart, a Scottish Jacobite who is on a mission for his chief. They are shipwrecked and separated, and upon reuniting, find that they are both suspect to the historical Appin Murder, and must flee across Scotland so David can claim his inheritance. - Summary by Petra Elphinstone
