Young d'Artagnan travels to Paris to make his fortune as a King's Musketeer. He befriends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, three Musketeers each with a past to hide. Fiercely loyal to King and Queen, they get themselves mixed up in court intrigue to prevent Cardinal Richelieu's machinations against Queen Anne. Who is the mysterious "Milady" who seems in such high favor with the Cardinal? Who was Athos, and why is he always depressed? Where does Porthos get his money, and why did Aramis abandon the Church for the world? Find out that and more in the first installment of the Dramatic Readings series of the d'Artagnan Romances, starring Alexander as d'Artagnan, Weretortoise as Athos, Jim Hedrick as Porthos, and Alexandria Adair as Aramis. - Summary by Alexandria Adair
